MASTERS TRACK & FIELD ANNUAL AWARDS
Under the direction of the Masters Track & Field Awards Committee, annual awards are presented to outstanding masters track & field athletes each year at the Athletes Dinner during the USATF Masters Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Awards are given in several age brackets. An award is also presented for distinguished service to Masters Track and Field.  For more information, see AWARDS COMMITTEE.

MASTERS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD
Each year one masters athlete (either from Track & Field, Long Distance Running, or Racewalking) receives a Masters Athlete of the Year Award. (Example at right)   A track and field athlete is nominated by the MTF Awards Committee, but the final decision is made by a USATF selection committee.

ALL-AMERICAN AWARDS
All-American Awards are offered to masters athletes whose performances exceed established standards for their events and age groups.  For more information, see ALL-AMERICANS.

MASTERS HALL OF FAME

Each year, since 1996, about a dozen athletes have been inducted into the USATF Masters Hall of Fame. (Award at left.) The Hall of Fame includes track and field athletes, racewalk athletes, long distance running athletes and also administrators.  To qualify for the Hall of Fame, athletes must have competed for at least 10 years.  They may be "active" (still competing) or "old timers" (retired for at least five years or deceased).  Nominations are considered by the Awards Committee. Inductees are determined by a larger group of athletes and administrators coordinated by the Awards Committee.  To view the list of athletes in the Masters HOF, see HALL OF FAME. RANKING CERTIFICATES
Athletes who ranked number one for their event(s) and age group are eligible for USATF ranking certificates (See right example). To obtain a certificate, check the rankings for a past calendar year (see RANKINGS) and send an email requesting a certificate to Mary Trotto. The certificates will be emailed for free or postal mailed for a small charge.
